Long Chaoshou has been serving Chengdu's famous wontons (chaoshou) since 1941, and is one of the most beloved traditional snack restaurants in the city. The paper-thin wonton wrappers filled with pork and served in a chili-oil red soup are Chengdu's answer to Shanghai's xiaolongbao. The restaurant also serves a wide range of traditional Chengdu snack dishes that make it the best single stop for a comprehensive local food experience.
