One of China's greatest museums — 370,000 artifacts, free entry
The Shaanxi History Museum is widely considered one of the best museums in China, housing 370,000 artifacts spanning 1 million years of Shaanxi history — from Neolithic pottery to Tang dynasty gold and silver. The free general admission makes it exceptional value. The museum holds some of the finest Tang dynasty treasures in existence, including the famous Tang tri-color (sancai) pottery horses.
